Choosing the right ECU
Plug-in or wire-in, how many inputs and outputs, drive-by-wire, CAN dashes, power management, flex fuel: the right choice depends on the engine, the car and where the build is heading. Tell us about your build and we'll recommend the ECU, dash and sensors that suit, without paying for features you won't use.

Which ECU should I buy?
It depends on the engine, the car and where the build is heading. Tell us about your build and we'll recommend the ECU, dash and sensors that suit, without paying for features you won't use.
What's the difference between a plug-in and a wire-in ECU?
A plug-in ECU connects to the factory wiring on supported cars. A wire-in ECU is wired in with a custom or terminated harness, which gives more flexibility for engine swaps and heavily modified builds.
Will my ECU arrive ready to run?
No. Every engine is different, so an aftermarket ECU needs to be set up and tuned for your car. We can do that in-house on our dyno, or your own tuner can.
